Question
Hi,

I am having a problem with my radio in my 1993 Cadillac Deville.

The clock works, but when i push the power button to turn the radio on, nothing happens. So I checked the fuses numbers 4 and 11 both were good.

I dont see any of these number codes folks talk about on here.

Does anyone know what the problem, might be or any suggestions on how to fix it. Or is the radio just junk and time to buy a new one?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Answer
What you need to do is remove the radio and perform some simple test procedures on the wiring terminals that go into the radio using a digital volt/ohm meter. If you or a neighbor knows how to use this meter which you can purchase for approx $20.00 in Wal-Mart or K-Mart or any auto parts store.

Once you have the meter, E-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com for pictures and directions on which wires to test.
