Question
I have a 1991 cadiliac elderado biarritz and about 50-60 per cent of the time when I get in to start the car it wont even turn over because the anti theft devise is somehow activated and it makes me wait 3 minutes and then I can start the car. Is there a way to bypass or deactivate this , or what is it that make's it do it sometimes but then not allways ?

Answer
There are several possibilities of an intermittent:

ignition key. Ignition lock cylinder on the steering column. Wires from the lock cylinder to the PASS-KEY module. PASS-KEY module. Starter relay.
