Hi, on my Caddi Seville 1998 the battery light flickers and the car jerks when moving away from lights. Drives ok after that till the next stop or slow down.
Have changed the ckp a n b sensors, plugs, ht cables and cleaned the throttle body flap etc. still same problems

Have the charging system tested for a fault in the alternator, cables or battery connections being corroded and not being clean and tight.

Everytime the battery light flickers this drives the computers NUTS due to low voltage to the computers.

Possible faults are:

battery, alternator, corroded wiresLOW OIL PRESSURE, Faulty oil pressure switch.

When was the last time you checked to make sure that the engine oil is at the FULL MARK on the dip stick nand when was the last time you changed the oil ?.

Have you had ANY work performed on the vehicle lately and if yes, What was done ?.
