QUESTION: how do i reset the computer on a 1998 Cadillac fleetwood so I can get codes

ANSWER: Just to clarify, Is this a FRONT or REAR wheel drive vehicle ?.

QUESTION: it is front wheel but is a 1989 not 1998

Answer
if you can physically see one of the 2 fuel injectors emitting excessive fuel into the engine, swap the 2 wire injector electrical connectors and see if the other injector now emits excessive fuel to the engine.

If it does, Replace the ECM computer.
