How do i retrieve the codes from the computer on an 88 cadillac deville?

Answer
Just to be sure, These instructions are for a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE vehicle with a DIGITAL speedometer.

1. Turn ignition switch to the ON position ONLY. Do NOT start the engine.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and then release them.

3. Watch the FUEL DATA DISPLAY for codes that will appear as a LETTER and NUMBER combination.

4. The display will stop at .7.0

5. Turn OFF ignition switch.



Tell me EVERYTHING that displays on the fuel data display EXACTLY as it appears as if you were video taping it.
