Expert: autohelp - 8/13/2009

Question
This is a recurring problem on my 1976 Eldorado Convertible with Automatic Climate Control.  The compressor is running (very few bubbles in sight glass), the hose is ice cold, but the air out of the ducts is only slightly cool. I had a mechanic who used to fix this problem over and over again (he said it was a simple fix requiring no new parts).  He has relocated and I can't find anyone to help.  

Any ideas?

Your previous mechanic, Did he have to fix this problem when the weather got hot and then again when the weather got cold ?.

Your most likely looking at a faulty AC/HEATER PROGRAMMER.
