Question
What would cause my car to start shaking and turn off while driving. Know my car will not turn on. I have a 2005 Cadillac SRX.

Exactly what is the problem ?.

When you try and start the engine via turning the ignition key do you hear NOTHING or does the engine make a noise like it is trying to start but just won't start or what ?.

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated on the dash while driving the vehicle ?.

Have you had any work at all of any kind performed on the vehicle lately ?.
