Question
My 2004 Cadillac SRX has a power steering control valve leak.  Garage says only can get the part from GM and it is very difficult to get part - may take as long as 4 weeks.  Is this something that may be covered under a 100,000 mile warranty?  Car has 62,000 miles on it.

Answer
I seriously DOUBT that this would be covered. The 100,000 mile warranty only covers major components such as engine, transmission, rear axle. It does NOT cover this small component.

They are NOT hard to get. Call around to some Cadillac dealers and ASK them if they have one and also write down the PART # and let me know wht it is.
