do I need to take it to cadi dealer( expensive) or to my local repair shop.... to fix a window that will not move up or down... no noise being made. My quess is the motor is shot.  pros and cons of not taking to dealer... other than price, please.

You can obtain detailed pictures and instructions on how to test the window switch to see if the problem is the switch. If it IS the switch you will receive detailed instructions on how to replace it.

If the fault IS the window motor you will receive detailed instructions on how to replace the window motor.
