Question
My cadillac sts is not starting I think is the starter but it could be that old battery how volts should it read for the battery to have enough juice to start da car?

Answer
First you need to have someone with jumper cables to help you start your vehicle.

Next you need to test the alternator to see how many VOLTS & AMPS it is putting out to the battery. If the alternator is putting out the correct amount of AMPS & VOLTS you need to fully charge the battery and then test the battery.
