QUESTION: I can start the car up perfectly and drive it a short distance, park it and cut the ignition off.I will have to wait 15 to 30 minutes before it will crank back up.I have replaced the starter and battery.Can you give me your thoughts on what could possibly be wrong with my car.

ANSWER: Is your problem is that when you turn the ignition key to start the engine you hear NOTHING (no sounds) from the engine ?.

What you have is a fault within the PASS-KEY security system which is most always caused by a fault in the 2 wires that connect to the ignition lock cylinder on the steering column where your ignition key inserts.
