Cadillac Repair/low fuel warning

Question
lately when i fill my gas tank, the low fuel warning appears, tonight it flashed the dire warning for about 30 miles then it settled down until the next fill up. Is this an easy fix or should I see my dealer?
This is most likely a fault in the fuel sending unit in the gas tank. However pictures and simple diagnostic tests must be performed.
