Question
I have a 93 seville northstar,I blew a rad hose and when i went to replace it i notced that the coolant had turned pink and had an oily feel quite thick. my transmission fluid had gone low so i am thinking my trans fluid is leaking into the rad is this possible?

Answer
YES, This IS possible that one of the plastic side tanks that cool the transmission fluid is leaking into the radiator.

However, The most common and very very popular fault is faulty head gaskets leaking engine oil into the coolant syatem due to faulty haed bolt threads in the aluminum engine block being stripped out by the steel head bolts.
