Cadillac Repair/1997 Cadillac Deville leaking head gasket

Question
I was told instead of taking the head and machining it and replacing the head gasket a stop leak process can be employed. But at a 50% success rate. What is your opinion? Do I have other options? The car runs perfectly, has zip and power and all that but leaks coolant.
I'll appreciate your comments.

Answer
I do NOT recommend this STOP LEAK product as it has a problem with plugging up the small tubes in your heater core which causes a problem of NO HEAT.

If you want to try something.  Drain out all the anti-freeze from the cooling system and install new coolant and add the General Motors stop leak TABLETS or PELLETS to the cooling system.

This is the ONLY product I recommend using.
