Question
What causes my alarm to go off in the middle of the night? It has not been tampered with that i can tell. When i check it all doors and windows are locked. It doesnt do it all the time just in the middle of the night?

Answer
One of the sensors or switches may be TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE which makes it a nightmare to find.

The most common fault is the horn pad on the steering column as the contacts are extremly close together and any temperature change can cause the contacts to close and set off the alarm.
