QUESTION: The gas gauge bounces around. Had fuel module replaced, still happening.Had the dash cluster replaced, still happening.Any ideas?

ANSWER: Explain fuel module. Do you mean the SENDING UNIT in the gas tank ?.

QUESTION: yes the sending unit is part of the fuel module

inside the gas tank there is a square plastic BAFFLE PLATE (like a box with no lid on it. Did you check to make sure that this BOX did not come loose from the bottom of the tank when you had the fuel module out. I have seen quite a few that came loose and they just float around hitting the sending unit arm causing the gage to read erratic.

Are you POSITIVE that the ground wire is secure at the fuel tank ?. Did you use an OHM METER to be SURE that it is grounded to the body ?.
