Can you put an engine from a 95 Eldorado in a 97 Deville? Also, is there a way to test an engine on a car w/ no transmission?
On your first question the easiest way to find out is to ask a junk yard they have a book on compatability.
on your second question, NO. You would need special equipment, computers and special electrical harnesses to attach to the engine and to the special computers.
