after i replace the factory stereo with a after market stereo the car will not start without getting a jump. replace the alternater jumped it drove around for a hour.cut the car off .tried to crank it but wouldnt crank need heeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllpppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone who installs an aftermarket radio always screws up with the wiring. You most likely used a TEST light to find your voltage wires.

There are THREE (3) voltage wires going to the radio.

12 volts
16 volts
05 volts.
