Question
1994 Cadillac DeVille - New speed sensor; put in new spark plugs & ratchet fell behind motor near speed sensor, found it setting on wire to speed sensor day later.  Now car is acting up, after approx. 15 min. of driving, speedometer goes to 0 & kicks out of gear, won't shift.  Codes are: 24-vehicle speed sensor signal to TCC; 75-intermittent vehicle speed sensor signal; 39-torque converter clutch. Don't know if this is relevant, but "old" speed sensor (4 mos. old) had metal shavings attached to it.  Can you please help us.  We don't know how to fix the problem.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Answer
If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL VOLT/OHM METER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information necessary to fix your vehicle.
