I have a 1996 Eldorado. The ac quit blowing cold. My husband (who is not mechanically challenged) checked the freeon charge and found it not to be low. ( according to some gauge he has) So I pulled the codes and found code ac1347. I understand it is a low freeon code? What are we missing?   Thank you in advance.

Answer
Either the gage is defective and you still have LOW freon in the system OR you did NOT clear the ac1347 code from the computer using the climate control panel on the dash.

Disconnecting the battery or pulling fuses will NOT CLEAR this code from the computer. You MUST use the climate control panel on the dash.
