Question
I recently changed my heater core due to coolant leaking. Now  I'm getting heat coming from the bottom of dashboard, non-stop as if the climate control is not working. The faster I go, the more hot air I fell or getting hotter. When I turn the A/C on, it only blows hot air as well. Do I need to recharge the freon? Please help and thank you in advance.

Sorry, I forgot to include in first email. This is for a 1996 Cadillac Deville

Answer
IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated on the dash ?.

As long as you did NOT drain the A/C FREON from the A/C system there is no need to recharge it. You most likely do not have something put back and or adjusted correctly when you changed the heater core.

Since oy will need more pictures, Diagnostic assistance and possibly telephone calls of which this persons website does NOT allow, You need to post your question to:  onlineautohelp@msn.com
