Question
Hi,
My calc professor said in the first day of class that there's a theory to tie calc 1 & 2 together.  I've had both in high school, but it's been some years.  I asked him what theory that was and he told me to wait till that class (I'm a math major).  I just can't accept that and would like to know if you can tell me what that theory is?

Answer
Hello Adam,

That is pretty vague...
I am not sure what he is talking about, as a "theory."
I would say that the fundamental theorem of (integral)
calculus ties them well.

I am curious to know what this "theory" is!  Please let me
know after he divulges this "secret!"  :-)

TTYL,

Abe
