Question
good morning .
can you help me please in solving the following equation :
  sin (2x ) + tan ( x ) = 2
note: i know by attempting that the ans. is x= 45 degree.

Answer
Try and put in sin(2x)=2sin(x)cos(x).  Once you have done this, it can be solved by converting sin(), cos(), and tan() to what they actually are on a triangle with near side a, far side b, and hypoteneuse 1 [which means that b=√(1-aČ) ].

There might be other ways to do this problem, but that seems like the most straight forward way to do it.
