Question
which factors has to be considered in determining the continuity and differentiability of a function

Answer
Hi Lebitso,
A function f(x) is continuous at a point x = c if
lim f(x) as x approaches c = f(c)
The function is continuous in an interval if it is continuous at every point in the interval.
A function f(x) is differentiable wherever f'(x) exists i.e
lim[f(x+h) - f(x)]/h  as h approaches zero exists.
