Question
f(x)= -ln(x-3)
a) find the inverse function of f^-1(x)
b) graph f and f^-1 on same axes and draw any asymptotes
c) domain of f^-1
d) range of f^-1
e) find f'(x)
f) graph f'(x) on same axes

Answer
a) To find inverse function , we switch positions of x & y :
x=-Ln(y-3) -> -x=Ln(y-3) -> e^(-x)=e^[Ln(y-3)] -> e^(-x)=y-3 ->
y=e^(-x)+3 & this is the inverse function.

c) Domain f^-1 : All x
d) Range f^-1  : All x

e) f'(x)=-1/(x-3)=1/(3-x)
