Question
I need to find the inequalities that must be satisfied.

A furniture-finishin plant finishes two kind of tables A and B,
Table A requiers 8 minutes of stainin and 9 minutes of vanishing,
whereas table B requirs 12 minutes of stainin and 6 minutes of
varnishing. The staining facility is available at most 480 minutes
per day and the varnishing facility is available at most 360 minutes
per day. The plant has to finish at least as many B tables as half
the number of A tables. The profit is $5 on each A table and $3 on
each B table. Find the maximum profit for the plant.

Answer
The profit equation is given by 5A + 3b.
The two constraints are
8A + 12B <=480 and
9A + 6B <= 360.
It is a standard assumption that A>=0 and B>=0.

That should be enought to construct the simplex tableau and solve the problem.  If not, once the equations are written down, input A first and then see if any B can be added.

Experience

Experience in the area: I have tutored students in all areas of mathematics for over 25 years. Education/Credentials: BSand MS in Mathematics from Oregon State University, where I completed sophomore course in Physics and Chemistry. I received both degrees with high honors. Awards and Honors: I have passed Actuarial tests 100, 110, and 135.

Publications
Maybe not a publication, but I have respond to well oveer 7,500 questions on the PC. Well over 2,000 of them have been in calculus.

Education/Credentials
I aquired well over 40 hours of upper division courses. This was well over the number that were required. I graduated with honors in both my BS and MS degree from Oregon State University. I was allowed to jump into a few junior level courses my sophomore year.

Awards and Honors
I have been nominated as the expert of the month several times. All of my scores right now are at least a 9.8 average (out of 10).
