Question
(x2+x-2)(x3-x+1)

Answer
Did you mean (x^2+x-2)(x^3-x+1)=? , If yes then let's start
multiplying each element, according to the rule :
(a+b+c)(x+y+z)=a(x+y+z)+b(x+y+z)+c(x+y+z). & We know that
a(x+y+z)=ax+ay+az.
Now I will leave to you to apply the rule on the form above.
