Question
a tour bus has 80 seats. experience shows that when a tour bus costs $300, all seats on the bus will be sold. for each additional $10 charged, 2 fewer seats will be sold. find a function that represents the revenue derived from a single bus tour.

Answer
The number of seats taken starts out as 80.  For each $10 increase in price, two fewer seats would be taken.

To determine profit, it's the number of seats * price per seat.

The number of seats is 80-2n and the price is 300*10n.

Based on the number of seats and the price per seat, the following is generated:
  80   300   24000
  78   310   24180
  76   320   24320
  74   330   24420
  72   340   24480
  70   350   24500
  68   360   24480
  66   370   24420
  64   380   24320
I think you can do the rest from here.  I may have went too far ...
