Question
what is the limit of sinx/x as x approaches pi/2?

Answer
Cassie , the point x=pi/2 is not a singularity for the function
sin/x, the function is well defined there. So we sin(pi/2)/pi/2
= 1/pi/2 = 2/pi .

If you mean x approaches 0, then there is singularity & the limit
must be calculated analytically.
