f(x)=x^2-3x+4, at P(2,2)

Answer
The tangent line will be from the form of y=mx+n . We need to calculate m & n .
Calculating m :
-------------
m is the slope of the line which is also the slope of the function. Therefore, we 1st derive
f(x) :
f'(x)=2x-3 . Then we find f'(2):
m=f'(2)=2*2-3=1 .
Calculating n :
-------------
To find n , we substitute the point P in the equation of the tangent line :
2=2*m+n
2=2+n
n=0 .
Thus, Tangent Line : y=x
