okay, Alon ... I know you're going to think I'm a complete idiot. But BOTH of the equations I gave you earlier were wrong ... they were the ones from the class examples .... I don't know where my head is today .... if you are unable to answer anymore, it's okay, and I understand.

Both of my equations have the "integral" sign ("∫") in front of them. The 2nd equation has the range of 1 and 4 (with 1 first, at the bottom of the "∫" and the 4 at the top). Here are the 2 equations (the REAL ones!):
1.  ∫ 5t^3 + 6t^2 + 3t + 1  dt
2.  ∫ t6 + 2t + 1  dt  (remember, this has a range of 1&4)

Thank you SO much. And I am SO very sorry for my mistakes earlier. I just don't know how I made such mistakes.

It's ok Felipe , it happens to all of us .
The 2nd one I have solved a couple of minutes ago, so I will solve the 1st one :
∫(5t^3+6t^2+3t+1) dt = ∫5t^3 dt + ∫6t^2 dt + ∫3t dt + ∫1 dt .
1. ∫5t^3 dt = (5/4)t^4
2. ∫6t^2 dt = (6/3)t^3
3. ∫3t dt = (3/2)t^2
4. ∫1 dt = t
Thus,
∫(5t^3+6t^2+3t+1) dt = (5/4)t^4 + (1/2)t^3 + (3/2)t^2 + t
