Question
HOW DO WE INTERGRATE BY SUBSTITUTION? CAN I PLEASE HAVE A FEW EXAMPLES EXPLAINING HOW WE DO THAT

Answer
This method is very useful specially when the integrand contains
powers. For example :

1
∫(x+1)^5 dx = ?
0

We substitute u=x+1 , that gives us du=dx, then the integral
becomes :

2
∫u^5 du = [(1/6)*u^6] --> form 1 to 2 = (1/6)[2^6-2]= 10.33
1

Note that the limits of the integral had changed :
when x=0 -> u=0+1=1
when x=1 -> u=1+1=2
