Question
lim x-> 4 sqrtx- 2/x-4

lim x-> 2 1/x-1/2/x-2

lim x-> infinity x^3/ x^4 +9

lim h -> 0 (4+h)^2 -16 /H

Answer
Lim   (√x -2)/(x-4) = Lim   [(√x -2)*(√x +2)]/[(x-4)*(√x +2)] =
x->4                  x->4
Lim [(x-4)/(x-4)]*1/[√x +2] = 1/[2+2] = 1/4 .
x->4

-------------------------------------

Lim    [(1/x)-(1/2)]/[x-2] = Lim   [(2-x)/2x)]/[x-2] =
x->2                         x->2
Lim  (2-x)(x-2)/2x = Lim   (4-x²)/2x = 0 .
x->2                 x->2

--------------------------------------

Lim   x³/(x^4+9) = Lim 1/(x+9/x³) = 1/(∞+9/∞) = 1/(∞+0) = 0 .
x->∞               x->∞

--------------------------------------

Lim   [(4+h)²-16]/h = Lim (16+h²+8h-16)/h = Lim h+8 = 8 .
h->0                  h->0                  h->0
