Question
how do you simplify (1-sin^2 x)(91-tan^2 x)? I'm really sorry if it isn't in the
right format.

Answer
We know that 1-sinē(x) = cosē(x).

Is that second term suppose to be 91-tanē(x)?

If it is, then the result is cosē(x)(1-tanē(x)) =
91cosē(x) - cosē(x)tanē(x).

Now tanē(x) = sinē(x)/cosē(x), so this reduces to
91cosē(x) - sinē(x).

To go still further, note that sinē(x) is 1 - cosē(x), so if we substitute this in we get
92cosē(x) - 1.
