Question
How do I graph this???

f(x)= (7      if x>2
      3      if x=2
-x+7   if -5 less than or equal to x less than 2
      12     if x less than -5

I have to graph it to find the limits.. but i don't understand the first and last part.. i think i understand the 2nd and 3rd part.. but i'm having trouble graphing..

thanks,.

Answer
At all x values to the left of -5, but in the line y=12.

Between x=-5 and x=2, put y=-x+7.
At x=-5, the line would be at y = -5+7 = 12.
At x=2, the line would be -2 + 7 = 5.

Where x is 2, put a very small circle around the point (2, 7).

At x=2, put a dot at y = 3.

From the circle, draw a level line to the left.
