Solve the equation, e^x + e^2x = e^3x. Thanks

Answer
e^x+e^2x=e^3x . Let's denote t=e^x , we get :
t+t²=t³ . Since e^x can never be zero, we can devide the equation by t. we get :
1+t=t² . The 2 solutions are : t=½(1±√5) . thus,
t1=½(1+√5)
t2=½(1-√5). Therefore :
x1=e^[½(1+√5)]
x2=e^[½(1-√5)]
