Can't figure out how to find the integral of 1/SQRT(1+x^3)

Sorry, but there is no elementary way to do this.  I suggest you try this site:

http://integrals.wolfram.com/index.jsp

which can integrate many things.  Of course, in this case it will give you the same answer. (or an answer in a form you won't like)
