Calculus/Negative divided by Zero plus

Question
Hey, I've been looking all over the place for an answer to this question but I just can't find it.

I just took a limit and it came to

-2/0+

the plus on the zero indicating a number slightly greater than zero.

Its been a while since I've taken a calculus class, and really don't want to get the first question on my first assignment wrong.

I know that a positive number divided by 0+ equals infinity, so is it simply just negative infinity?

Sorry for wasting your time with such a simple question

Answer
Yes, that is the correct answer.

The best thing to know is that no question is too simple.
If you've got a question, ask it.
For every question like that, there are probably several other students in the class with the same question also scared to ask it.
