Question: Good day

can u help me solve this: x^2-2ax=1 and write it in surd form

..................................

Just use the qf with

a = 1, b = -2a [not the same 'a'], c = -1

2a +- sqrt(4a^2 + 4a)

x = ---------------------

2

and simplify.
