I think you mean:

Find what value of x yields a maximum profit.

I think you left out:

Let the price function be designated as p.

Let the profit function be designated as P.

['P' is not the same as 'p'.]

Then P = price * x - cost.

P = x(129 - 0.5x) - 50x + 32.75

P = 129x - 0.5x^2 - 50x + 32.75

P =      - 0.5x^2 - 79x + 32.75

After that, the rest is routine.  Find x to maximize P:

Differentiate, set P' = 0, solve.

Then you can answer the other questions.  If you you get stuck, let me know.
