Question
Find absolute max. and min
F(x) = x^ -2x =+3  [0,5]

Answer
Hi, Jordan,

In your question:

Find absolute max. and min
F(x) = x^ -2x =+3 [0,5]

I think you mistyped something.  Please check and resubmit it.  OR, use the standard process for these:

1. Find F'(x).
2. Set F'(x) = 0 and solve.  Any solutions of this equation that are within the specified interval become 'candidates'.
3. Add the left and right endpoints to the list of candidates.
4. Compute F(x) for every candidate.
5. Pick the highest and lowest values.
