Question
how do civil engineers, physicists, electrical engineers, chemical engineers, and economists use integral calculus in their occupation?

Answer
Depends on what they do...not being an engineer, physicist, or economist, I cannot speak about that.  However, they certainly need it in getting their degrees and certifications!
