Question
hi, i have a question about taking AP Calculus. what do u need to do in order to prepare for AP Calc b/c i'm taking it my senior year. is there certain criteria that u need to have in order to take the course?

Answer
Hello Amy,

Of course, as with nearly any math course, you need
certain skills in advance!

For calculus, you MUST know pre-calculus quite well!
That is, you must know the following areas reasonably
well:
algebra, trigonometry, functions - linear, exponential,
logarithmic, polynomial, rational, trigonometric, inverse,
etc. -- and what their graphs look like and how they
behave.

OK?  Abe
