Question
Hi Steve,
I am planning our family trip (husband and me, 2 kids ages 6/8) to CA, arrive Fri Feb 6- depart Fri Feb 13, staying at Hilton Anaheim.  Trying to figure when to rent a car and best days to see Disney & CA Adventure (2-3 days); San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and Universal Studios. Purchased discount tickets in advance for all.

Thank you for your help!!

Answer
Hi Francesca,

If you are staying at the Hilton, you can pretty much walk to Disneyland, Downtown Disney, and Garden Walk. There is really no need to rent a car. Once you start going to the other places, then you'll need a car. February isn't very crowded at the Disneyland Resort, so any of those days are good. I would go to Disneyland fisrt, then go see the other places. Or maybe you can go to Disneyland/Calfornia Adventure for 2 days, go to those other places, then go back for one more day at that end.

You'll get the largest crowds at those places on the weekends, but it shouldn't be too bad overall.

At Disneyland, be sure to utilize FastPass, and call 714-781-DINE to make reservations for dining. It saves a lot of time.

Have fun!
