California/group camping with 300 girl scouts in LA area

Steve,
I am trying to locate a campground that could accommodate 300 girl scouts for a camporee this fall. We recently held one at Castaic Lake in April. I would like to have more shade if possible because Sept. can still be quite hot. Do you know of any specific campgrounds that accept groups this large.

Answer
The largest public group campground that I'm familiar with is at El Capitan State Beach, which will accomodate 210 total. The only area I know of that will accomodate a group that size is the Firestone Scout Reservation: http://www.boyscoutsla.org/website/camping/
