How far is lax from John Wayne airport?
Hi Barbara,
LAX is 42 miles from SNA (John Wayne Airport) in Orange County, down the notoriously slow 405. They call it the 405 because you go 4 o' 5 miles per hour! Google maps will tell you that you can make it in 45 minutes, but that's only around midnight. Average time is 70-120 minutes.
