Question
Do you know of any tent cabins in camping areas in Southern California?  All I have heard of so far is Catalina Island.  Any help would be great, thanks!

Hi Alison,

I know they have some at Lake Cachuma. They call them "yurts". You can also camp in yurts at:
El Capitan Canyon, near Santa Barbara
Eco Wilderness near Pismo Beach
Vermilian Valley Resort, in the mountains between Yosemite & Sequoia

They have tent cabins up in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, up by Santa Cruz.

And of course, Yosemite Valley.

As you can see, they're few and far between.
