I want to go to Calif in March and would like to know the average temperature. Thank you.

Spring weather, and March In particular, is variable in California.  SoCal desert areas begin to reach into the 80s, while ski resorts in the Sierra Mtns may continue to receive new snow pack.  Global Warming effects for 2010 brought increased precipitation throughout the state and slightly lower than average temperatures.  I recommend using one of the weather websites to fine tune your understanding to specific locations where you plan to travel.  Have fun.
