Question
Where would you recommend staying on the beach in the Hermosa, Redondo, Manhattan Beach areas. We have stayed at the Sea Sprite in Hermosa Beach. Looking for something similar, but a step up from that. Thank you!

Hi Joan,

I've never actually stayed at the Sea Sprite. It looks like an older property, but the location is great, right on the beach.

The place that comes to my mind is the Portofino Inn, in Redondo Beach. A bit more upscale, but also a great location. You have a bit of a beach, but the area is more of a harbor/yacht club type of environment. You have the Redondo Beach Pier very close by, and plenty of restaurants to choose from.
