Question
Planning a trip for our 30th wedding anniversary 9/2007. Coming from Boston.Hoping for 2-3 weeks stay in/around San Diego area. I have been before, hubby has not.Checking out vacation rentals, and not sure where to look. I loved Pacific Beach,Oceanside, Mission Beach, but dont want to stay where it will be rowdy and loud at night. Absolutley loved La Jolla, but not sure we can affford 2 weeks there! Do not have to be on the beach. We love a lake and would even consider a home with a pool, in an inland area, just not sure where to look. Any help would be awesome!
Oh...we will be visitng the Zoo, Gaslight, LaJolla, Harrahs casino, LA, Malibu,Venice Beach, Coronado and relaxing by ourselves!
Thanks so much for any info you can give us.

Answer
Hi Linda,

I could dazzle you with information about San Diego, but it would be far short of the Jedi Master, "Local Wally". He is truly the guru of Sandy Eggo, and I defer all my SD questions to his web site: www.localwally.com. You'll learn more there than I could ever tell you.

Have fun, and if you need any info about LA or "The OC", just let me know.

Expertise

I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I`ve lived in the Valley, west side, east side, and South Bay, so I`m an expert on getting around town. I`m knowledgeable about all of the Southern California tourist attractions. I am also an expert on state beaches in Southern California, and have an expansive camping background. No relocation/moving questions, please.

Experience

I have lived in Southern California my entire life. I'm a "local", with expert knowledge of Southern California. I've done a lot of extensive traveling to NorCal, so I can provide answers about northern California as a visitor, and southern California as a local.

Education/Credentials
Not that this matters, but since it's required, I have a Bachelor's Degree. I also have a Master's Degree in the University of Life.
